Sara Hayes

My roots in education started in Wallowa in the Head Start preschool classroom.  I am fortunate to have the background I do in social services, early childhood education, early intervention, and currently middle & high school.  Experiences and education I have acquired give me a wholistic lens, seeing the whole student not just their educational career.  

First and foremost, I am a mother of 3 kids who are 5th generation residents of Wallowa County and wife of 14 years to my very supportive husband.  With family roots in Imnaha and Joseph, Wallowa County is home.  In my spare time, I adventure in remote areas and enjoy all things outdoors.
