HS and ES Library Times

  • Monday - Thursday
  • 7:30am to 3:30pm

 

Attention: The last day to check out books from the HS and ES Library will be May 14th.  All Library books will be due no later than June 2, 2020.  Books may be returned to the school on the Lunch Bus or the Tuesday School Work bus.  If you do not utilize the bus system, you may drop your book off in the District Office, located in the Elementary School.

 

You Can Checkout Library Books While You Are At Home!

Students, if you would like to check out a Library book from either the HS Library or ES Library, take a look at the HS or ES Catalogs.  E-mail me, Mrs. Howard at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the title and authors name.  I will send the book to you either on the lunch bus or the Tuesday bus with school work.

Remember, books can be returned on the Lunch Bus or Tuesday School Work Bus.

 

E-BOOKS AND AUDIO BOOKS 

All Patrons that have a Library Card with the Wallowa Public Library, have the option to check out e-books and audio books for free through Library2Go!  This is a great reading option, while the library is closed. Please visit the Wallowa Public Library website.

If you are a person who has lost your library card, or need to renew your password, or you would like to become a Patron of Wallow Public Library, you may email Debbie Linde the Librarian at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your need.  When becoming a patron through email, Debbie will give you a library card number and temporary password.  When the library reopens, you can visit and pick up your patron card.

Go to website and discover what it can offer you. You can link up with Library 2 Go and many other reading sources!

 

Another place to find a free e-books and audio books is Project Gutenberg.  On this site you can find e-books and audio books.  If you are going to select an audio book, be sure to find the Special Catagories heading and choose, "Audio book human read".  This is appose to computer read.  You will not need an app for this source. I encourage you to peruse the Project Gutenberg website.  I would begin with clicking on the "Book Categories", or "Browse Catalog" options.

MyOn is a free Platform linked to Accelerated Reader.  It is currently free for everybody through June 30th.  Here is the information.  Please share!
