I am going into my second year of teaching special education, and I am excited that it will be here in Wallowa! I graduated from Eastern Washington University with my Bachelor of Arts in Education: Elementary Education and Special Education in 2015. I am currently working on my Master of Teaching and Learning through Colorado State University. I live with my husband, two-year-old daughter, and new puppy, just outside of Enterprise.

This year I will be teaching 8th-12th grade special education. In the Resource Room, I provide focus on life skills and set academic goals that are tailored to each student’s needs. My main goal is to not only have all my students graduate, but to ensure that they become productive and positive contributors to society.

I am tremendously excited that I will be instructing a new class for the 2017-2018 school year! Leadership is a class that will be focused around citizenship and civic awareness. Students will create and run fundraisers for the school, create and run service projects for our community, learn how to be impactful school and community members, and much more. I am looking forward to all the awesome new things these students will bring to Wallowa!
