Our Mission: Through Student learning, Strategic Teaching, teamwork, and flexibility, all Wallowa School District students will become successful and positive contributors to society.

Mrs. Butterfield graduated from the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!) with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a Reading Endorsement.   She then continued online classes to recieve her Masters in Education for Currriculum and Instruction.  She taught in Kindergarten and 3rd grade for 5 years and 1 year as a Reading and Math Interventionist and High Ability Learner Teacher.  After working for a year at the STEM Hub at Eastern Oregon University, Mrs. Butterfield accepted a job as a Special Education Teacher in Wallowa School District.  She recieved her Special Education Endorsement through Eastern Oregon University a year later.

Mrs. Butterfield is married to her husband, Eric Butterfield, who is a native of Joseph, Oregon.  They have 3 wonderful children: Austin, Ava, and Oliver.  They enjoy going camping, hunting, snowmobiling, and being outdoors.  They love spending time with family and friends; especially after living in the Midwest for 6 years.  You may often find Mrs. Butterfield playing with her kids, working in the garden, or reading a good book (probably something about education or brit/american lit!).
