Budget

We will be earning money for small projects the school needs through fundraisers. Two we have already started are Box Tops for Education and Campbell’s Soup Labels.

Committee Report

There are a number of projects we discussed and planned for this school year to get the community involved and to support our school. Projects we decided are a good fit for our school include; Family Fun Nights, Chili Feed to goa long with the Talent Show, Teacher Appreciation Week, Muffins for Mom, Father/Daughter Dance, Fundraisers, Booster Support for Athletic Teams, Jog-a-thon or something similar, Carnival, Box Tops and Campbell’s Labels, and Outdoor Classroom. We will find committee chairs for these projects at the next meeting.

New Business

  • We will be getting the PAC on the school website and sending out a newsletter each month with activities coming up. We will also be able to get information to parents through the school newsletter each month. Turn in date is the last Tuesday of the month.
  • We discussed and decided that Cougar PAC (parent action committee) would be a good name for our organization. It keeps us from having to pay state PTA fees each year.
  • We plan on serving a soup and cracker potluck meal for the teachers and staff during parent teacher conferences and will discuss the details next month.

Next Meeting

Next Meeting is on October 14, 2015 at 6:30 pm in Elementary Library.
